Why do so many people hate Muslims?

Most media connections tend to only state the horrible things that Muslims have done. It's been happening ever since 911. It a horrible concept, and it's sparks paranoia against most followers of Islam. Then there's the whole Saudi Arabia and Sharia Law that doesn't really improve their image. Combining that with the fact that there's very few open Muslims in America, people tend to make generalizations about them. That guy was one of them. It's a shame, but it happens. A lot. For people that say that the Koran is a horrible book, and that the people who follow it have no morals, have you read the Bible? Christianity is hardly any better- hell they even share similar beliefs!
