So i've been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half now.so for nothing.?

I have had a lot of problems with ovarian cyths. i lost my right ovary about 2 years ago. my left ovary is still in danger and i would like to have a child before it's to late. i've tried clomid and nothing so far. i'm about to start my period in about a week and a half and i'm getting a lot of milky white discharge. and i'm not sure if the pain from my ovary is a cyth or i might be ovulating. my question is, can i ovulate that late into my cycle? and i have had the white discharge but so far no clear mucus that i'm supposed to have. could the pain and discharge be from starting my period soon or could it be ovulation?
